What if Howard Taft, a president best known (arguably since it’s not confirmed) for becoming stuck in his own bathtub, were reborn in 2012. How would an early 20th century statesman react to our current political climate. Taft 2012 seeks to answer those questions, with a touch of the absurd. Taft’s only real friend is Irene, a 106 year-old in a nursing home who warns him: 

“Don’t let these times taint you. If there’s one thing this generation loves, it’s to make things more difficult than they have to be … Do what you have to do, but don’t let them turn you into someone else.”
