What I need is a program that will let me scan bar codes of books and/or DVDs that we have and then put them into a spread sheet so we can see what books people have, and who has what checked out (since I lose more stuff this way). I’ve looked at a few programs, but they all seem to work with their own library system and might be mac only or Windows only, and I’d prefer to have something that works across the great OS divide. So if anyone uses something like this or has any ideas, give me a heads up.

Any ideas?
